Sarah Tuck's Dark and White Chocolate Brownies with Sea Salt

2 July

Hello Graham
This is my fourth July in New Zealand (I'm originally British) and I'm slowly getting accustomed to a Christmas-less winter. In lieu of that really good excuse to indulge in comfort food, I'm inventing my own, because recipes like Sarah Tuck's Dark and White Chocolate Brownies with Sea Salt deserve to be relished. The oven makes an excellent heater too, so celebrate winter with a Sunday of baking – David Parker unintentionally did so for this week's Cook the Books recipe challenge, read his ever-amusing column below.
Online Editor,

This is a guaranteed moist, fudgy, extra rich and dark chocolate brownie with white chocolate chunks and a sprinkling of sea salt – phwaor. They are also ridiculously easy and quick to make.
