ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Angie Redfern was raised in England. Her career in the hospitality industry blossomed when she earned a work placement at The Savoy in London. She later worked with Tricia Giuld at The Designers Guild before settling in Auckland and opening the ever-popular Ripe Deli in 2002. 
Auckland food lovers flock towards Ripe’s Richmond Road located café and take-out deli, for an ever-changing array of delicious and seasonally focussed fare. The two collections of Ripe recipes published by Beatnik combines some of their most requested recipes that place an emphasis on seasonal produce and healthy eating. 
Each recipe is brought to life with stunning photographs by Beatnik’s own Sally Greer, making both books a mouth-watering feast for the eyes.
