Dear Bookman Beattie, This month we ticked past the quarter-million online recipes mark, yet another fantastic achievement by our indexing team, assisted by hundreds of Members adding recipes using the Bookmarklet. EYB continues to grow, with a goal of being your go-to resource for locating high-quality recipes, providing insights on new cookbooks, giving away plenty of new releases, and bringing you news from the food world. Our featured Pinterest Board for July includes ideas to make the best use of your grill, plus we have a rundown of the highest-ranking stories and recipe collections for the month in case you missed them. We are highlighting Jamie magazine, a delightful publication featuring many online recipes from Jamie Oliver along with other popular chefs and food writers. Happy cooking! The team at EatYourBooks   250,000 online recipes   Earlier this month we surpassed 250,000 online recipes in the EYB database. Our indexers are not resting on their laurels - since we hit the milestone on July 9, we've added almost 2,000 more recipes. Almost as impressive as the sheer quantity of recipes is their variety. You can find great baking ideas like How to make your own sprinkles, intriguing international recipes like Bodega okroshka with kefir and pickle brine (Bokroshka), twists on classics like Bacon and avocado Monte Cristo sandwich with jalapeno jelly, and refreshing drinks like Sparkling strawberry cucumber sangria.    Featured magazine: Jamie   Each issue of Jamie magazine is packed with delicious, easy recipes both from Jamie himself and other top chefs like Massimo Bottura, Yasmin Khan, and Yotam Ottolenghi. The magazine is not only about recipes but also about talented chefs and home cooks who enjoy creating amazing meals, plus exploring food cultures around the world. Over 1,300 of the magazine's recipes are available online. That's like adding over seven cookbooks for free! Browse all issues of Jamie magazine, and easily add them to your Bookshelf by using our simple tutorial. Remember, it can take a while for online links to be added, so check back often after the magazine is published.    Member photo gallery   EYB Members continue to share amazing photos of the dishes they make, and we will continue to highlight our favorites here and in our weekly roundup. Additional highlights to the calendar include Michelle Tam and Henry Fong touring in support of Ready or Not!, Michael Twitty supporting The Cooking Gene, Deepa Thomas promoting Deepa’s Secrets, Kirsten & Christopher Shockey promoting Fiery Ferments, and chef Michael Smith with a handful of events in Canada.   Bookstores continue to bring the goods with classes and author events galore. You won't want to miss the special celebration of Flo Braker's life at Omnivore Books in San Francisco, and browse events at various locations of Waterstones in the UK. There's also a new bookstore in the Calendar - Parnassus Books in Nashville, Tennessee, co-owned by author Ann Patchett.
