Antonio Carluccio OBE OMRI at Cook the Books Friday 27 November from 1.30pm
We are delighted to be hosting Antonio Carluccio at our store this coming Friday. Antonio is a larger-than-life character who, over his 50-year career, has inspired thousands of people with his no-fuss Italian cooking and passion for good food & wine. Born on the Amalfi Coast in the South of Italy in 1937, Antonio founded one of the UK's most prominent restaurant brands, the Carluccio chain of restaurants. He is a prolific author of some 20 cookbooks, and successful television presenter - most recently seen on our screens as one of The Two Greedy Italians.
Our lovely friend Luca Villari from Al Volo Pizzeria will be serving up some wood-fired goodness, and Jay from Vivace will be on the espresso.
