Cookbook awards season in full force
Last month we learned who the IACP nominees were; now we know the winners - Deep Run Roots by Vivian Howard was the star of the awards. The JBF recently announced its 2017 cookbook award nominees, but we have to wait a few weeks to learn who will reign supreme in that contest. Look for a few dark horse candidates in that race. The 2017 Piglet competition had its share of upsets and controversial reviews, but a winner emerged nonetheless. Congratulations to Asha Gomez's My Two Souths, which bested 15 competitors in that contest.
Highlighted magazine - Australian Gourmet Traveller

It can start with a gift, a family heirloom, or out of necessity because no one in the family could cook. Before you know it, you're a collector! When Jenny shared her cookbook collecting story and asked EYB Members how they started theirs, the replies were fascinating.
