As we migrate into March, farewelling the temperamental Kiwi summer that was, we welcome the start of Bluff oyster season.

This week, we trawl up and down the country to scout out the best spots to enjoy the Foveaux Strait's beautiful bounty. 

With March's arrival comes Auckland Cup Week, kicking off with Derby Day on Saturday, March 4 (see our giveaways).

We also take a crash-course in the art of the grill and learn how to pack the perfect picnic.
